- Graz. The result of these days is an unofficial prerelease of
- the upcoming grml release 0.3
- which will be presented on the <a href="http://linuxday2005.tk/">linuxday
- klagenfurt</a> (carinthia/austria) on 22nd of february. Michael Prokop
- will hold a workshop on grml at this event and the two other grml core
- developers will be there too. A sponsor provides us 50 CDs for free, if
- you attend the workshop you can get one prerelease for free.<br />

- <p>We have made some more design-decisions. Due to lack of time we changed our goal
- from creating a distribution from scratch/source based to building a distribution
- based on debian/knoppix. We don't want to reinvent the wheel
- (:=hardware-recognition, packetmanagement,..) so we try to use existing
- infrastructure and improve things we don't like that much.</p>

- <p>We collected ressources for building a new distribution (many ideas,
- websites,...). We created <a href="/img/grml_bart.png">a vmware-image</a> based on <a

- zsh-scripts (zsh will be the default-shell of grml) and wrote a first (unpublished)
- design-guide.</p>
