  33         <p>grml is a Debian-based Live-CD. It includes a collection of GNU/Linux
  34         software especially for users of texttools and system administrators.
  35         grml provides automatic hardware detection. You can use grml for example
  36         as a rescue system, for analyzing systems/networks or as a working
  37         environment. It is not necessary to install anything to a harddisk, you
  38         don't even need a harddisk to run it, unless you want to (use grml2hd
  39         for this). Due to on-the-fly decompression grml includes about 2.1 GiB
  40         of software and documentation on the CD.</p>

  42         <p>Whereas grml provides about 2.1 GB of software on a 700 MB
  43         ISO, grml-small is a flavor with only ~58 MB ISO-size (~170 MB
  44         uncompressed). It does not provide a lot of software but the
  45         essential stuff for being a rescue system on a business card
  46         CD-ROM or a small USB device. You can use the Debian package
  47         management system to install software on the fly (assuming you
  48         have network access to a Debian mirror). Take a look at the '<a
  49         href="/files/">Debian-Information'-section</a> if you are
  50         searching for the package list.</p>
